Hudginson, died Sunday, July 25, in a local hospital. She was the wife of Tommie Cothern. She was employed at the First Baptist Home for the Aged and held membership in the First Baptist Church. Among the survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Mary Sanders of Freehold, NJ; one son, Ellias Artis Sr., of Elizabeth City; one sister, Mrs. Alice Smith of Hampton; and two brothers, Rev. W. J. Hudginson of Matawan, NJ, and Jack Hudginson of Portsmouth, Services were conducted on Tuesday in the Graves Funeral Chapel with burial following in the Calvary Cemetery.
