Virginian-Pilot  September 15, 1965
NORFOLK — Timothy Cotter, 88, of 823 Holt St., a retired merchant seaman, died 
Tuesday at 9:20 a.m., in a hospital.

A son of John and Mrs. Hannah Hayes Cotter, he was a native of Cork County, 
Ireland, and lived in this area a number of years.

He had no known relatives.

The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Virginia Beach, to 
St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church for a funeral service Thursday at 8 a.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
