The funeral of Lemuel Cotton, 45, of 736 Charlotte street, who died in a local 
hospital on November 8, was held at St. John AME Church on November 14 with 
the Rev. H. M. Shields officiating. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Etta Cotton, 
two brothers, a sister, and other relatives. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
