Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 25,1961
Final rites were held at the Jones Funeral Home on Sunday for Nathaniel Cotton, 
42, of 1323 Church street, who died Feb. 12. (Per death certificate DOD Feb 
11,1961)

The Rev. W. O. Deloatch officiated at the rites for the veteran of World War II.  
Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Mr. Cotton is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Cotton of Norfolk, and his 
mother, Mrs. Alma Cotton of Darlington, SC, his birthplace.
