COTTON, SAMUEL P. – At a local hospital, Thursday, July 8, 1943, at 7:40 o’clock 
p.m., SAMUEL P., husband of Mrs. Mamie Adams Cotton and son of the late John and 
Mrs. Annie Bew Cotton, in the 67th year of his age. Services at the chapel of the 
H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial avenue, MONDAY AFTERNOON at 2 
o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood cemetery.
