Virginian Pilot March 26, 1907

Mrs. Sallie E. Cottrell, wife of Capt. J. Cottrell, died at her home, 404 East 
Main Street, at 5:10 o'clock Sunday afternoon, after an illness of ten days in the 
34th year of her age.  The deceased was the daughter of the late Capt. A.W. Pierce 
of Cedar Rock, Franklin County, N.C. and granddaughter of the late John P. Andrews 
of Warrenton, N.C.  The funeral will take place from the residence at 3 o'clock 
Wednesday afternoon and will be conducted by Dr. Murray of the Church of the 
Millennial Dawn, of Suffolk.
