Couper, the widow of John D. Couper, died early yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R Guy Baldwin, 1117 Westover Avenue. Mrs. Couper was 60 years old. After returning from a shopping trip Friday, Mrs. Couper sustained a stroke of paralysis, from which she never recovered. Mrs. Couper is survived by one son, Colonel William Couper of Washington, two daughters, Mrs. R. Guy Baldwin and Mrs. C. H. Prince, of Norfolk, and one brother Rear Admiral W. R. Capps, U.S.N. Funeral Services will be at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at 11 o’clock this morning and interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Honorary pall-bearers will be Nathaniel Beaman, T.A. Jones, R.I. Boxman, Col. R. A. Marr, W.W. Waller and William P. Dobson. Active pall-bearers will be Linton Jones, Egan Dodson, Nevison Waller, Thomas H. Willcox, Jr., Alvah Martin and Horace B Rodgers.
