Virginian Pilot January 15, 1972 

Mrs. Elizabeth G. Cousins, 56, of 316 Dinwiddie St. died Thursday in a hospital. 
She was the wife of William R. Cousins Jr. and a daughter of Joseph F. Gallalee 
Sr. of Portsmouth and the late Mrs. Mary Ryan Gallalee.
A native of Manila, Philippine Islands, she lived here 50 years.
She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and St. Paul's Woman's Club.
Besides her husband and father, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. G.P. 
McLaughlin of Colorado Springs, Mrs. Robert S. Garner of Hampton and Miss 
Christina R. Cousins of Portsmouth; a son, Army Capt. William R. Cousins III in 
Vietnam; two sisters, Mrs. James P. Kirsch of Portsmouth and Mrs. Elliot T. 
Katherman of Largo, Fla.; two brothers, Vincent R. Gallalee of Chicago and 
Martin B. Gallalee of Silver Spring, Md.; and three grandchildren.
A Scriptural Rosary will be recited Sunday 8 p.m. in Foster Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held Monday at noon in St. Paul's Catholic Church. 
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk.
