Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Sunday March 3, 1929
Mrs. Diana Lee Cowan. aged 34, died at her residence 728 Virginia avenue, 
yesterday morning at 12:15 o'clock after an illness of two months.  She was the 
wife of B.G. Cowan and daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Jones and the late William 
Warfield Cockey, a native of Suffolk but a resident of Norfolk for the past 16 
years.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by an infant son and a 
daughter, Marjorie Lee Cowan and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Catlett, of Hampton 
and Mrs. E.R. Young, Long Beach, Calif.
The body was removed to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox and Brother, 631 Westover 
avenue, where funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.  
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
