Mr. Isiah Cowell --  Funeral services for Mr. Cowell, of 1710 Oak Street, 
South Norfolk, VA, and died recently at a local hospital were held June 7, 
1955 at St. Thomas AME Church with the pastor, Rev. M. L. Beaman officiating.  
He was the son of the late Andrew Cowell and Annie Carson Cowell.  He is 
survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Spruill and Ruth Cowell, four sons, 
Algustus, William, Isiah Jr., and Thaddus.  Interment was in Mount Olive 
Cemetery.
