Mrs. Martha Cowell, 65, of 2764 Liberia drive, was given a funeral service Sunday 
at Solid Rock Church of Christ, the Rev. Alex Varner delivering the eulogy.  
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Norfolk, Mrs. Cowell was a member of the Good Samaritans.

Her only survivor is a sister, Mrs. Bessie Patricks of Norfolk.
