Robert E. Cowell was born April 26, 1954. He went home to be with the Lord Dec.
8, 2003. He was a loving husband and father and will truly be missed. He leaves
to mourn his loss, his wife Yetta Cowell ; daughters, Rolschelle Banks of
Norfolk and Wendy Coleman of Maryland; stepdaughter, Luvonda Banks and stepson,
Marvin Banks, both of Norfolk; mother, Etta Mae Cowell ; four sisters, Cora
Cowell , Carolyn Pointer, Dorethea Cowell and Cheryl Basnight; grandchildren,
Tyree Coleman, Dayshauna Banks, Chanquisa Banks and Andre Price; and a host of
nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Charlie Cowell .

Robert was loved by all knew him. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his
personal savior. A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Garden of Prayer
Temple, 1001 Church St., Norfolk, by Pastor Bishop L. E. Willis. A viewing will
be held today from 2 to 8 p.m. and a wake will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. at
Riddick Funeral Service.
