Mary Henderson Wright Cowell, 82, formerly of the 1000 block of Elkin St., died 
Saturday, March 20, 2004. 

She was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Wiley Cowell. She retired from the 
Norfolk Naval Station and was a member of First Church of Christ Holiness. 

Survivors include a daughter, Jane W. Goss; a son, Michael Brookins; three 
granddaughters; three grandsons; and three great-granddaughters. 

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday at First Church of Christ Holiness 
by Elder Benjamin Winn Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Graves Funeral 
Home is in charge.
