Cox, prominent Hampton laundryman, who died yesterday afternoon at the family residence in Marshall street, after a brief illness, will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 1:15 o’clock in the I. P. Richardson Funeral Home in Marshall street. The Rev. Paul K. Buckles, pastor of Hampton Presbyterian Church, will officiate. After the service here, the remains will be conveyed to Norfolk, where burial will occur in the new Elmwood Cemetery. Hampton Lodge of Elks, No. 366, will have charge of services at the grave and pallbearers will be from the lodge membership. Mr. Cox was one of the oldest members, in point of affiliation, of the Elks.
