Virginian-Pilot December 4, 1947
William Roland Cox — Funeral services for Mr. Cox were conducted at the Hollomon-
Brown Funeral Home yesterday at noon by the Rev. E. Ruffin Jones, D.D., rector 
emeritus of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Pallbearers were C. W. Marshall, R. B. 
Frost, L. J. Hov, Robert M. Darden, Shelton N. Woodard, Sr., W. H. Fentress, W. P. 
Hilton and W. J. Gordon. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
