Norfolk Virginian-Pilot September 11, 1867
DIED
On Monday night, after a long and painful illness, which he bore with Christian 
fortitude, MILES S. COX, aged 56 years.
His funeral will take place from his late residence, No. 24 Bank street, THIS 
(Wednesday) AFTERNOON at 3˝ o’clock. The friends and acquaintances of the family 
are respectfully invited to attend,
