James Joseph Cox — James Joseph Cox, 68, son of the late Patrick and Mrs. 
Catherine King Cox, a lifelong resident of this section, died at the residence, 
4214 Colonial avenue, yesterday at 1:30 p.m. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. 
E. K. Tice and Misses Margaret L. and Mary Ellen Cox; two sons, James W. and 
George W. Cox; two grandchildren, al! of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Bridget McCarthy, 
of New York City, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 
St. Mary's Catholic Church Tuesday at 10 a. m. Interment will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the residence tonight at 8 o'clock.
