Cox, 65, wife of Gordon L. Cox and daughter of the late Rufus Morgan and Mrs. Anna Mae Johnson Bearden, a native of Knoxville, Tenn. and a resident of Norfolk for 13 years, died Thursday at 7 a.m. at the residence 6136 Powhatan Ave. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Gordon L. Cox Jr., of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Donald M. Cox, of New York; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret P. Kyle, of Athens, W. Va.; six grandchildren; one brother, Glenn Bearden, of Hemphill, W. Va. and a number of nieces and nephews. The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for funeral services Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, SATURDAY MORNING, at 10 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery. Cox, who died Thursday at her home, 6136 Powhatan Ave., were held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Saturday at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. John Dunne. The Rev. Kenneth M. Rizer was present in the sanctuary. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers were G. L. Comer, C. F. Fitzsimmons, W. C. Plunkett, J. H. Christoph, V. D. Wright and E. E. McConnehey.
