She was a member of United House of Prayer For All People, Church Street, and its No. 1 Choir. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mamie Jennette and Mrs. Annabelle Moore of Norfolk, and Mrs. Lillie Mae Green of Washington; four sons, James Cradle Jr. of Norfolk, David Cradle of Wesbury, N.Y., William Cradle of Portsmouth, and Air Force S. Sgt. Johnny Cradle, stationed in the Philipine Islands; four sisters, Mrs. Hattie Harris of Norfolk, Mrs. Florence Moore of Farmville, N.C., Mrs. Leather DuPree of White Plains, N.Y., and Mrs. Mary Dixon of New Haven, Conn.; a brother, Harvey Johnson of Boston; eight grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren. The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home. the family will be at her home.
