The Virginian-Pilot, Tuesday, June 21, 1977

CHESAPEAKE - Mrs. Claudie E. Cradle of 955 Geneva Ave., the stepdaughter of 
Edward Harrell and a Norfolk native, died Sunday in a hospital after a long 
illness.

She was for 15 years a nurse at Maryview Hospital, and she was a member of the 
House of Prayer for All Peoples.

Other survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Deborah A. Scott, Miss Verjeanne E. 
Cradle, and Miss Tammarh C. Cradle, all of Chesapeake, and Mrs. Vernessa Lee and 
Miss Patricia A. Cradle, both of Portsmouth; and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the House of Prayer for All Peoples 
by Elder Eddie Elliott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home 
has charge. the Family will be at home.
