Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 22,1964
Norfolk - A funeral service was held Thursday at New Central Baptist Church for 
Mrs. Maebelle Crandall, 52, of 2725 Marleboro avenue who died Feb. 17.

The Rev. W. B. Westbrook officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery under direction of Graves Funeral Home.

A Norfolk native, Mrs. Crandall was a member of New Central.  She is survived by 
her husband, Grover Crandall;  a brother, George Buffalo of Virginia Beach;  and 
two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Pretlow of Norfolk and Mrs. Ethel McKee of Chesapeake.
