Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Tuesday February  18, 1930
Mrs. Ona Anne Crawford, aged 45, died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon at 
3 o'clock, after an illness of two weeks.  She was the wife of W.H. Crawford, 
904 West Onley road, and daughter of the late Jesse and Robana Whitson Burgess.  
She was a native of Princess Anne County, but had been a resident of Norfolk for 
30 years. 
In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, D.L. and E.W. 
Crawford, of Norfolk and W.H. Crawford, Philadelphia; one daughter, Myrtle May 
Crawford, Norfolk and one grandchild.
The body was removed to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Bro., 631 Westover 
avenue, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 
o'clock.
