The Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 5, 1942
John D. Crawford, aged 67, former resident of Norfolk, died yesterday morning 
at 5 o'clock in a Washington hospital.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lulie 
D. Crawford, of Washington, and two stepsons, Walter and Arthur Bainbridge, of 
Norfolk.
The body will arrive by Washington steamer tomorrow morning, and will be taken 
to the Gregory Funeral Home, Granby at Thirty-fourth street, for funeral 
services at 11 o'clock.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
