Norfolk - James W. Credle of 620 W. 29th street, the husband of Mrs. Clossie Mae 
Credle, died in a Petersburg hospital.

A native of Stratton, NC, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Credle.

Surviving, besides his widow, are two sons, James H. Credle of the Army in 
Vietnam  and Willie Credle of Norfolk;  a daughter, Miss Neva Credle of Norfolk;  
two brothers, Roy Credle of Baltimore and Weldon Credle of New York;  and a 
stepson, Elmo O’Neal of New York.

Graves Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
