The Virginian Pilot Sunday May 6, 1956
William H. Creekmore, 54, of 827 Yarmouth St., died in Norfolk hospital 
yesterday at 8:25 p.m. after an illness of five months.
A native of South Mills, N.C., he had lived in South Norfolk most of his 
life, having moved to Norfolk two years ago.  He was a son of the late 
William I. and Mrs. Love Sawyer Creekmore, and husband of Mrs. Lucille 
Beasley Creekmore.
Besides his wife, surviving are three sisters, Mrs. W.J. Dailey of South 
Norfolk, Mrs. G.M. Stephenson and Mrs. C.R. Divers, both of Norfolk; two 
brothers, Alvin B. Creekmore, of Norfolk, and Claude J. Creekmore, of South 
Norfolk.
The body was removed to the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk, 
where services will be conducted tomorrow at 4 p.m.  Burial will be in 
Magnolia Cemetery.
