Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, October 21, 1992 
James Linwood Creekmore of the 700 block of Fremont St., a retired aircraft
mechanic, died Oct. 17, 1992, in a hospital.

Mr. Creekmore was born in Norfolk. He retired from Norfolk Naval Air Rework
Facility after 25 years and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Sallie Creekmore; a son, John Creekmore of Norfolk;
two sisters, Ella Wilson of Philadelphia and Betrell Creekmore of Los Angeles; a
brother, Billy Creekmore of New York; and a grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Graves Funeral Home by the Rev.
J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and friends will
assemble at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Friday.
