Virginian Pilot July 29, 1909

Mrs. Susan Creekmore, wife of J.T. Creekmore, 37 North Main street, died yesterday 
morning at 1:30 o'clock at the Lawford Hospital, after a lingering illness.
The deceased was a native of Camden county, N.C., but had been residing here four 
years.  She was 44 years old and is survived by a husband and four daughters.
The funeral takes place from the above residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock and 
will be conducted by the Rev. W.A. Smith, pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist 
Church.  The remains will be laid to rest in Magnolia cemetery.
