Born in Hampton, she was the widow of Melvin Crenshaw and a dietician for Norfolk Naval Supply. She was an active member of St. Andrews Temple C.O.G.I.C. for more than 50 years where she was a deaconess, Sunday school teacher, and a member of the Missionary Board and the Prayer Band. Survivors include two daughters, Gustava Patterson of Philadelphia, Pa. and Constance C. Williams of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Darlene Henderson of New Jersey and Michael Crenshaw of Norfolk; three great-grandchildren, Nicole Henderson of New Jersey, Michael Crenshaw Jr. of Norfolk, Ravon Henderson of New Jersey; a daughter-in-law, Rosetta Crenshaw of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in St. Andrews Temple C.O.-G.I.C. by Mother Bishop Lauretta Jones. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. The family will assemble at the residence for the procession. The remains will be ready for viewing from 3 to 8 p.m. today and will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Thursday.
