Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Crenshaw, 88, 1449 W. 43rd street, were conducted
recently at the Queen Street Baptist Church.  The Rev. J. Jasper Freeman
officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Crenshaw died after a long illness.

She was the daughter of Albert and Mrs. Adeline Row and the widow of Emmett
Crenshaw.  She was a native of Suffolk and a member of the Queen Street Baptist
Church, Norfolk.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lelia C. Ellis of Norfolk and Mrs.
Vernetta C. Robinson of Philadelphia;  four sisters, Mrs. Isabelle Ashe, Mrs.
Eliza Ward and Mrs. Madia White, all of Norfolk, and Mrs. Maggie Mizell of
Philadelphia and five grandchildren.

Hale Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
