The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark April 11, 1934

Frank Crews, aged 64, husband of Mattie Staylor Crews, died Monday night at 
7:15 o’clock at Pelham Manor, N.Y. He was a former well known residence of 
Norfolk and for the past several years had resided in New York. Besides his 
wife, Ms. Mattie Staylor Crews, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Thomas 
Mason, of New York; four grandchildren, and a brother, William Crews.
Services will be held at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery tomorrow morning at 9:30 
o’clock with the Rev. J.L. MacMillan, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian 
Church, officiating.
