The Virginian Pilot February 21, 1958
Mrs. Eva Maywood Collins Crichton, 74, widow of Charles C. Crichton and 
daughter of John B. and Mrs. Georgette Munden Collins, died at a Norfolk 
hospital yesterday at 11:40 a.m.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Grace C. Kelley of Norfolk, and Mrs. 
Charles C. Clemmer of Hampton; a sister, Mrs. Grace C. Dowtin of Norfolk, and 
three grandchildren.
Mrs. Crichton was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 111 E. Belvedere 
Rd. She was a member of the Knox Presbyterian Church, Woman's Club of Norfolk, 
past president of the Housewives League, King's Daughters, Belvedere Garden 
Club, Woman's Democratic Club and Y.W.C.A., and was the organizer and first 
chairman of the More Beautiful Norfolk Campaign.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Saturday 
at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
