J. B. Henderson officiated. Mrs. Crocker, a native of Petersburg, VA, came to Norfolk in 1904 after marrying the late James E. Crocker. She died Nov. 8 at a Norfolk hospital after a long illness. She was a member of the Johnson avenue Neighborhood club and Bank Street church. Surviving are five children, James E. Crocker, Jr., Mrs. Hannah C. Norris of New York, Misses Mary I. and Rosetta G. Crocker and Mrs. Geraldine C. Young; three grand-children, daughters of a son, the late Henry B. Crocker. Mrs. Irene C. Sears and Misses Eleanor A. and Henrietta D. Crocker; one great- granddaughter Avonda V. Sears; daughter-in-law Mrs. Eleanor Crocker Hardy; two sons-in-law Andrew Norris and George W. Young, many relatives and friends. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Home in charge.
