Virginian-Pilot November 12, 1950
CROCKETT, EDWARD POLK – At the residence, 611 Raleigh Avenue, Friday, November 10, 
1950, at 5 p.m., EDWARD POLK CROCKETT, husband of Mrs. Mary Langley Crockett, and 
son of the late Josiah and Mrs. Sarah Humphreys Crockett, in the 81st year of his 
age. Funeral services at the above residence THIS (Sunday) AFTERNOON at 3:30 
o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Remains will be forwarded to 
Washington, D.C., for cremation.

Additional Comments:
He and his wife have a tombstone in Elmwood Cemetery.
