Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch April 17, 1933
CROCKETT – At a hospital in Richmond, Saturday morning, April 15, 1933, at 12:11 
o’clock, while on a visit to her son, Wallace McCloud, in that city, MRS. KATE 
CHAPIN CROCKETT, wife of H. A. Crockett, of Florida, a native of New York, but a 
resident of Norfolk section 68 years, aged 75 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the home of her son THIS (Sunday) MORNING at 
11 o’clock and the body will arrive here via C. & O. Railroad this (Sunday) 
afternoon for a funeral MONDAY AFTERNOON at 1:30 o’clock from the funeral home of 
Graham & Sykes, Jackson and Jefferson streets, South Norfolk.
