She left here five years ago to live in California. A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Edward P. Crockett and a daughter of Charles and Mrs. Portia Demming Langley. Her forebears settled in Norfolk in the early 1700s. Her membership in First Presbyterian Church dated to 1912, two years after it was opened. She also was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Huguenot Society and was one of the first members of Norfolk City Union of King’s Daughters. Besides Mrs. Currin, surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Mary C. Peebles of Bourne, Mass.; a son, Edward P. Crockett Jr. of Virginia Beach; seven grand¬children; and seven great-grand¬children. The body is being sent to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. Burial is to be in Elmwood Cemetery at a time to be announced.
