Kathleen Cannon Crockett died Aug. 5, 2003.

She was predeceased by her husband, Merrill Bert Crockett, her parents, Mary 
Tillett and William Joseph Cannon, and her sister, Mary Martha Cannon.

Kathleen was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a charter member of St. 
Pius X Catholic Church. Mrs. Crockett was an active volunteer at the Norfolk 
Botanical Garden, attended Ghent Venture and supported the Norfolk SPCA and the 
Virginia Zoo.

Survivors include a daughter, Joanne Lewis, and her husband, Marvin, of Dalton, 
Ga.; cousins, Michael Joseph Cannon, Nancy Gibney Parsons, both of Norfolk and 
Dolly Tillett McConnell, of Clifton Park, N.Y.

A chapel service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., 
Norfolk chapel, by the Rev. Jesse Enciso. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. 
Flowers are welcome. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Norfolk Botanical 
Garden, 6700 Azalea Garden Road, Norfolk, VA 23518-5337.
