Virginian-Pilot, January 31, 1905
The funeral of Mrs. Harriet Anne Crockett, widow of the late Thomas Smith 
Crockett, who died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Charles F. Steel, No. 
166 Wood Street, at 3 o'clock Sunday morning, was solemnized from the residence 
at 3 o'clock p.m. yesterday. The service was conducted by Rev. Dr. Carl E. 
Grammer, rector of Christ Episcopal Church, assisted by Rev. U. B. Thomas and 
Rev. W H. Riser, of the first Lutheran Church. The interment was in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
