Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - August 17, 1992

Dorothy Kahn Crockin, 76, of the 1700 block of Banning Road, a retired 
registered nurse, died Aug. 16, 1992, in a hospital.
Mrs. Crockin was born in Hazleton, Pa. She was a registered nurse in Virginia 
and Pennsylvania. She was a member of Ohef Sholom Temple and its Sisterhood. She 
was also a member of Beth Sholom Home Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Jay M. Crockin; two daughters, Cathy C. Kinzler 
of Richmond and Joyce L. Crockin of Newport News; a son, Alan J. Crockin of 
Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn 
Cemetery by Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman. Friends may join the family at the 
residence. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to Ohef Sholom Temple, American Heart Association 
or the Beth Sholom Home of Eastern Virginia.
