Mrs. Lottie E. Croft, 78, of 2122 Vincent Ave., wife of Edgar H. Croft, Sr. 
and daughter of William E. and Mrs.
Meriam Hozier Wyatt, died in a Norfolk hospital Monday at 9:05 a.m. Besides 
her widower, she is survived by six sons, Leslie W. Croft of Panama Canal 
Zone, John
H. Croft of Kempsville, Earl C. Croft of Bayside, Wayburn C. Croft of Diamond 
Lake Estates, Edgar H. Croft Jr. and Luther T. Croft of Norfolk; a sister, 
Mrs. Ottie Lassiter of Norfolk; 14 grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren. Mrs. Croft was a native of Petersburg and lived in Norfolk most 
of her life.
A funeral service will be held in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Wednesday at 11 
a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
