The Virginian Pilot Thursday January 8, 1959
SOUTH NORFOLK -Thomas Bradford Cronk, 64, husband of Mrs. Ruth Stewart Cronk 
of 1516 Chesapeake Ave., died in a Norfolk hospital Wednesday at 6 p.m. 
after a short illness.
A native of Penn Yenn, N.Y., he had lived here for 45 years.  He was the son 
of the late Charles and Mrs. Harriett Miller Cronk.
He was assistant manager of the Hotel Lee in Norfolk.
Besides his wife, surviving are one son, Charles F. Cronk of South Norfolk; 
two stepsons, Durwood A. Carlisle of Richmond and Frank Carlisle of South 
Norfolk; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Hallet Cahoon and Mrs. John L. Roughton, 
both of South Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Adams and Mrs. Edith 
Wingdale, both of Penn Yenn; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Graham Funeral Home Saturday at 2 
p.m.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Norfolk.
