Norfolk Virginian Pilot Monday March 10, 1947
Fannie Winn Crookston, 71, daughter of the late William Edward and Cloy Frances 
Reason Winn, died at a local hospital yesterday at 2:15 a.m.  She was born in 
Jamesville, N.C. and had resided in Norfolk for 38 years.  She is survived by a 
sister, Mrs. Camillia Virginia Groves, of Norfolk, two nieces and three nephews.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church at Harper's Ferry, W. Va.
Funeral services will be held in the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel Tuesday at 2 
p.m.  The Rev. H.A. Glauss, pastor of Zion Methodist Church, will officiate.  
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
