NORFOLK - Mrs. Mary Crosby of 1520 W. 41st St. died Thursday in a nursing home.

A native of Chester, S.C., she was a daughter of Armistead and Mrs. Charlotte C.
Hemphill and the widow of Samuel Crosby.

She was a member of the Gospel Choir and Deaconess Board of St. Mark RZUA Church.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lottie Hemphill of Charlotte, N.C.,

A funeral service will be held May 16 in St. Mark RZUA Church by the Rev. J.O.
Allen. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at
10 a.m. from Hale Funeral Home.
