Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Martha Cross, 75, of 240 W. 26th 
street, at Holy Temple Church, Chapel street. The Rev. Paul Bradley 
officiated.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Cross was a native of Ahoskie, NC, and an usher at Holy Temple.

Surviving are her husband, Charlie Cross; two brothers, Jack Copeland and 
Buddy Copeland of Ahoskie; four sisters, Miss Lethia Copeland, Miss Doris 
Copeland, Miss Lucille Copeland and Miss Glennie Copeland, all of Winton, 
NC.
