Virginian-Pilot December 17, 2000
Mildred Cross, 89, passed away Dec. 15, 2000, in a nursing home. Miss Cross was 
born in Norfolk and was a retired supervisor of the Portsmouth Public Schools 
Libraries.
Survivors include a sister, Elsie C. Miller of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; two 
brothers, Earl S. Cross of N. Palm Beach, Fla., and Thomas L. Cross of Norfolk.
Cox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
