Norfolk - Mrs. Hilda Crowder of 4438 Elkhorn Ave., the wife of Lester Crowder,
died May 29 in a hospital.

A native of Rocky Mount, NC, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Mrs. Lula
Harrison.

Besides her husband, surviving are three sons, Luke Crowder, Herman Crowder, and
Gene Crowder of Norfolk; a daughter, Mrs. Marion Halstone of Rocky Mount; and
two grandchildren.

A funeral service was held May 31 in Calvary Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home was
in charge.
