DEATHS

CROWLING, MARGARET ELIZABETH - At a local hospital, Thursday, May 10, 1956, at 
8:40 p.m., Margaret Elizabeth Crowling, daughter of Patrick M. and Margaret Ruth 
Shives Crowling, age 15 years.  Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 
services Monday morning at 10 o'clock.  Friends of the family are invited to 
attend.  Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.

MISS MARGARET ELIZABETH CROWLING, 15-year-old daughter of Patrick M. and Mrs. 
Margaret Shives Crowling, of 4256 Goldcrest Dr., Indian River Terrace, died in a 
Norfolk hospital yesterday at 9 p.m., after a long illness.

Besides her parents, surviving is one brother, Patrick McGuire Crowling Jr.; her 
paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Crowling, all of Norfolk, and maternal 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Shives, of Zephyr Hills, Fla.

She was a freshman at Norfolk Catholic High School and was a member of Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church.

The body was removed to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.  Rosary services will 
be conducted at the funeral apartments tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.  The family will be 
at 302 Westover Ave.
