Norfolk - William J. Crump of 800 Smith street received a funeral service July
29 in St. Mary's Catholic Church.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale
Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Richmond, Mr. Crump was a son of the late Josiah and Mrs. Fernella
M. Crump and husband of Mrs. Priscella Crump.  He was a retired waiter and a
member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Surviving are a son, Bernard Crump, and five grandchildren of Newport News.  He
died July 26 in a hospital.
