Mary Gonzales Crump, 89, of the 2900 block of Argonne Ave., died May 21, 2000, in 
a local hospital.

She was born in Norfolk and was the widow of William T. Crump Sr. She was a member 
of Christ the King Catholic Church, Christ the King Bible Study Group, the Pius 
Club, the Tarrallton Club and Holy Trinity Santos Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Louise Morton and her husband, Franklin, of 
Virginia Beach and Frances Taylor and her husband, Jesse, of Pass Christian, 
Miss.; a son, William Thomas Crump Jr. and his wife, Inez, of Norfolk; two 
sisters, Virginia Houmis and Cecilia Feito of Norfolk; nine grandchildren, Robert 
Ramsey, Michael Ramsey, Jeffrey Crump, Robert Crump, Jason Crump, Marilyn Swiney, 
Franklin T. Morton, Laura Faustini and Stephen Morton; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ the 
King Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The family 
will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hollomon-Brown 
Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, where a Christian Wake Service will be held 
at 7:30 p.m.
