NORFOLK — William Thomas Crump Sr., 72, of 2927 Argonne Ave., the husband of Mrs. 
Mary G. Crump and a Norfolk native, died Tuesday in a hospital.
He was a retired, 32-year Civil Service employee of Norfolk Naval Air Rework 
Facility. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Louise Morton of Virginia Beach 
and Mrs. Frances C. Taylor of Long Beach, Miss.; a son, William T. Crump Jr. of 
Norfolk; six sisters, Mrs. Mary C. Crowling and Mrs. Alice C. Eggenhart of 
Norfolk, Mrs. Teresa C. Humphries and Mrs. Johanna C. Simpson of Virginia Beach, 
Mrs. Anne C. Taylor of Chesapeake, and Mrs. Ada C. McKinzie, also of Norfolk; two 
brothers, James Crump and Thomas Crump of Norfolk; and eight grandchildren.
The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic 
Church.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Friday night at 
7 in the Funeral Apartments.
