Virginian Pilot November 20, 1901

CRUSER - At the residence of his son, W.S. Cruser, Cruser Place, near Indian 
Poll Bridge, Tuesday, November 19, at 2 p.m., Capt. CORNELIOUS C. CRUSER, in the 
84th year of his age.
The funeral will take place from the above residence THIS (Wednesday) AFTERNOON 
at 3 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend. 
Please omit flowers.

The funeral of Captain C. Cruser took place from the residence of his son, Mr. 
W.S. Cruser, Cruser Place, near Indian Poll Bridge, Wednesday evening at 3 
o'clock and was conducted by Rev. Dr. Barr, of St. Luke's Church. The interment 
was in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers: George Simons, Frank Shumadine, Randolph 
Cromwell, Frank Cromwell, Jackson Grant, W.W. Simpson, George Bunting and John 
Wilkins.
